Alfredo Rodriguez San Antonio Concert reviews
Miranda show was great but a little dissappointing
Thomas Rhett was a high energy performer. Great sound, especially vocals. Alfredo Rodriguez struggled throughout the first three songs. I loved the new song! Dierks stole the show but his acoustic/bluegrass numbers were a little sloppy. The sound was sub-par and then the sound got better. Alfredo should have done a duet with Blake but that's not a big deal. The collaborative songs with all artists was just short of a catastrophe. It was very amateur. People were confused; is the concert over or not? Biggest critique, the 'fluidity' of Alfredo's set, especially the last few songs. Vocal mixes were horrible and harmonies could not be made out. I am a musician who critiques more than just the hits. Parking charges and wristband charges are just another thing gone wrong with seeing a show these days. Please play somewhere other than the NIU convo center. They actually ran out of wrist bands for the beer vendor area!!! The artists are young and will no-doubt get better. I am a concert goer that loves good music and a good venue. Alfredo Rodriguez, Dierks Bentley, and Thomas Rhett are all very talented musicians and I will continue to buy their music, attend their concerts and consider myself a fan! Great job to them and the best of luck as well.
